Dave and I have been thinking heavily on what in the world we are going to name this bambino! We have gone back to the original list of unused girl names that we have had since Lauren, thinking and thinking of which will be the right one. Naming a child is such a heavy and huge responsibility and we don't take it lightly. I mean this is what you call your kid for the rest of her life! This is serious stuff! We really like family names. Lauren is the name of one of my Aunt's. David, well that is obvious, Kathren is the name of a great great grandmother, and Thomas West is the name of each of our grandfathers. The only family name that we can agree on is Lillian. That is the name of my great grandmother, and also my sister. We also have the whole EN thing going on with the girls. I don't know if we need to continue this, will the poor girl feel left out if she is the only female in the family without the EN sound at the end of her name? I don't know! And frankly, I can't handle the pressure! So I am calling on all my blogger friends! Help us name this baby! If we choose your name, we will be sending you a lovely prize as a thank you for aiding us in this heavy responsibility!

Well, I'm particulary partial to the name Lillie Anne since that's what we're naming our little one if it's a girl (which we find out on Friday!). Have fun choosing a name!
Hmm.. I LOVE the name Lillian aka Lily. So pretty and classy. And it seems to have the family connection thing you guys want.
That said, I also like the names Maren (my brothers fiancee), Annie (SO CUTE) and Violet (on my list).
Whichever one you choose will be great!
Just name her Lily! Good luck with this one! Mat and I always have a list of names in mind and then we wait til we see them to make the final decision! I have NOT regretted doing that! He wanted to name Tenaya (Miracle). Or (Faith). She looked like a Tenaya to me! Her middle name is Faith. I'll tell you in secret about the other kids names!

Boo yah... now you can name her after one of your favorites plus have a "en" ending.
So I've been pondering on what you should name this little babe and honestly I've come up with some pretty stellar names but then i remembered you're the pregnant one and therefore you get to name her whatever you want... so go for it name her what you want.
Question... Have you ever thought of maybe asking her what she wants her name to be.. you know since she will be called that the rest of her life?
But if you really want my opinion... I really like the name REN... she for sure won't feel left out!
I think Lily Anne is lovely. But you can't beat West's suggestion of Kachow. That's the best one, hands down and we all know it.
I don't think you have to feel beholden to the "ends in EN" thing with the girls' names. After all, it's only two girls whose names follow the pattern. It's not like you have 7 girls, and the 8th will be the only one left out. You should feel free to pick whatever name you like!
How about Julienne. I also like Lillenne, or Jillienne. You might want to stay away from another "L" name because then Kathren might feel left out that the other two girls start with L and she doesn't. I am a total believer in naming your kids after each other. My children both have names that have a "Y" in their first name, and their middle names both start with "J", and they both have a "Y" in their middle name too! Braydon's initials are B.J. and Tylar's are T.J. They rhyme. See, there is nothing wrong with having that. I know whatever you choose will be great! Good luck!

Totally go for Kachow! That's a sweet name! On a serious note, Lillian or Lily is a beautiful name, you can't go wrong with that one.

I've always loved Jaclyn. So pretty and classic. But whatever...I'm just sayin.
My vote is Ellie Anne Kachow. Like Lillie Anne (Lillian) but drop the L. So something family, with your own twist -okay it might be stretching it a bit. But seriously, I think it's pretty unanimous, you've got to fit Kachow in there somewhere.
We vote for Maren!!! (You already knew that!) I LOVE the "ren" tradition- We think you should keep it going! I knew a Maren who was super cute and everyone always remembered her name. Plus the sound of Maren Moreau sounds great plus M&M is cute too! Maren Lillian? She will be an adorable girl no matter what!
Well you already know what I will pick since I think that I have told you that I love the name Maren! I would ude that name for us but I think a Mason and a Maren would be too much in our family. Then Kathren wouldn't feel left out with 2 L names but you still get your ren ending!(hows that for logic?) Anyway good luck choosins as it is ultimatly your decision.

Hi. Well I think you should go with Lillian/lilyan since that is the one you both like. Then you could also call her Lily which is so cute for a nickname. I also like Maren. Unfortunately I've drawn a total blank on other girl's names that I like. Good luck!
